You can vote early in Michigan, but communities determine when they will begin offering early vote. Find out when your early voting period begins in your community.
You have a right to vote absentee by mail in Michigan. Absentee ballot requests are available now. October 21st is the last recommended day to request an absentee ballot. Ballots must be returned as instructed by 8pm on November 5th.
You can register to vote any time up to 8pm on Election Day at your local clerk’s office. If you register online or by mail, your application must be received at least 15 days before the election. You must have been a resident for more than 30 days.
